Doesn't look too good. I hope valve doesn't endorse every new game with Half Life in the title or contents. if they look and feel this generic and wants lots of money for kickstarter (but it only raised 14$)
have you guys tried the beta? See for yourself how it works. You can download the beta and play it. I have found a few new issues but it doesn't seem to be anything seriously bad.. Well, compared to other issues at least. A few problems haven't been fixed yet apparently.
I have recieved some report in USA East server that some people cannot join EU server, getting "Unable to Connect" errors. Now that I am infected by it after map changes :/
Yeah, you wont receive anything malicious from the steam network. Its a combination of lack of protection and downloading or clicking the wrong things.
Really sucks that because I'm using a newer version of Electron (framework/engine that Atom uses), Atom now eats up 1GB+ of memory within a few minutes.
yeah... I am hoping to get all the mods possible using the same experience mod code I already added the code for TFC, but there is a couple glitches with the maximum health and armor when you touch a backpack, or else we would have a TFC XPMod server right now. I have been thinking of doing it for Day of Defeat as well, but I don't know how well that is going to work yet. I like the Warcraft 3 Day of Defeat mod, but it could use some more traffic. Gangwars had a similar issue with max health and armor, and I haven't figured out how to change that yet.
I am not sure if more hooks have been added to the game or not Mr. Oats. If you are interested in seeing more of what Angelscript is capable of with Sven Co-op, I recommend reading the information that can be found here: https://github.com/SamVanheer/SC_Angelscript/wiki
Possibly. I forgot about that idea. It might be quite challenging to do that, so I haven't really focused on it much. It seems like something that would be easier to do with Angelscript.
I released an updated version of the XPMod code in case anyone cares to take a look : https://bitbucket.org/modriot/scxpm/comm...6e70e882bc This is very similar to the version that is running on the servers currently. Some of the minor changes actually haven't been put on the servers yet.
"All of the XP Mod servers for Sven Co-op have been connected to a central database. Now you can access your levels on any SCXPM server that we run. " THANK YOU I LOVE YOU
After I got done, there were about 2,000 players left who were above level 100. Everyone who was below level 100 got removed, so 100 free levels will be given to players on our servers for a limited time.
All of the XP Mod servers for Sven Co-op have been connected to a central database. Now you can access your levels on any SCXPM server that we run. Counter-Strike 1.6 SCXPM will soon be connected to the central database as well.
@Queen lovell, sorry for the delay with your application I shall gladly explain more soon but at the mean time regarding bans and actions needed if you could please provide information or evidence will help process the appeal efficiently.
Not trying to rush this or anything but can someone respond to my admin application for BB2? Really getting tired of people disrespecting me and others while im trying to have fun. Thanks!
I am hoping to have as many servers as possible accessing data globally eventually. Some things might change here soon, so not all of our current setup will be compatible with that. I would like to do a global database for quite a few things.
so could community players, members and staff advise people ingame or out, they can make a ticket on forums to possiblly have their level(s) or medals restored to a point or I can agree too in the forums thanks and please make all tickets in this thread area http://modriot.com/forumdisplay.php?fid=31 thank you.
Greeting, our sven co-op E.U servers has been restored after having technical difficulties thanks to snapman and swampdog everything is back up and running. but once again anything dealing with xpmod and players saved data has been rolled back to a workable past saved state .. alot people on E.U Xpmod servers are going notice there ingame levels altered and other effects missing or changed.
Until we get the fast download back up, only stock "vanilla" sven coop maps will be available (likely only for today). Custom maps and content will be available again once we sort this out.
our u.s sven co-op servesr are working currently if possible and lag isn't an issue for most people, I welcome people to play there until our e.u services are restored.
Modriot E.U Sven Co-op Server are down currently we have lost connection to our e.u germany box, sorry for the inconvenience and we hope to have everything back asap.
I changed the skill.cfg file again. http://modriot.com/showthread.php?tid=55...54#pid1454 the values are now around 1.5x greater than default values instead of 2x greater. We will be experimenting with cvars for controlling player damage variable by the number of players on the server, so the more people there are on the server will determine how much less damage players do to enemies (I believe)
hardcoregaming, try typing "r_dynamic 0" in console (without quotes) this removes the dynamic lighting when set to 0. It also makes it so you can't see the flashlight or use nightvision, though, and setting it to 1 turns everything back on.
I just asked Mr. Smith : "DO U EVEN MAP TEST BRO?"... It is funny because he has tested many Sven Co-op maps with me and we are still going to be testing more
Ok, the default skill values of enemies on the Sven Co-op XPMod servers have been changed. The easiest maps to tell the difference on are probably the Half-Life campaign and They Hunger series, since they use the default skill file.
Ummmmm we should try the new sc_robination_revised map Anyway, for the XPMod servers I doubled all the values of default skill for maps that use the skill.cfg file. More information can be found here: http://modriot.com/showthread.php?tid=550 If you want to help customize these values more specifically, your input is welcome. We have a lot of maps which use custom settings outside of this default skill file also.
could community players, members and staff advise people ingame or out, they can make a ticket on forums to possible have there level restored to a point or can I agree too in the forums thanks.
greets, our sven co-op Xmod e.u server has been repaired after having technical difficulties thanks to snapman, swampdog, and jonnyboy its back up but everything ingame has been rolled backed to 3 days ago .. alot people are going notice there ingame levels altered and other effects missing / changed
Sup ma bois. Guess I've been away for a while. School just started and I was just deeply in-love with this game, Warframe. lol I see there has been some changes, nothing too big. Which is nice. And new T.Mods. Thats cool. Hope to play with y'all soon!
Lots o' stuff is new I updated the Sven Co-op XPMod version on the US:NW server, US:E server, and the Test server. I won't be updating it on the EU server until it empties out or has a crash, so I can fully restart the server. Please let me know of any issues or if you have any questions here in this forum thread http://modriot.com/showthread.php?tid=625
The only items that had any kind of decent sized discount percentage were items they were just trying to get rid of, clearing the warehouse of unsellable items
Grabbed all kinds of goodies with the prime day sale. Finally scored some upgrades for this laptop im always working from, 240Gb SSD + 16Gb Ram + New Headset + External diskdrive (since the one on my laptop is shot)
Thx for reporting some of these issues. Some of them are random (Sven Co-op linux server) crashes that we can't do anything about (I don't think?) and some are fixable. A good place to report any potential map-related problems is here : http://modriot.com/forumdisplay.php?fid=104
lol so I'm in the XPMod [US:NW] server now (I don't play there often) and there's all sorts of fantastic, sarcastic commentary going on about how hellmouth is the best map ever ("12 out of 10") so that's right up my alley XD
Jackhammer (or J.A.C.K.; they seem to have renamed it) is vastly superior to both Hammer v3.5 beta (the 'latest' Valve version... from April 2003 >.>) and the Sven Co-op modified Hammer though. Use J.A.C.K.
