Just like the egg-event there are now pumpkins lying around everywhere and giving EXP.
The problem is:
- some of them give over 1500XP
- everyone is now rushing every map to collect them

Pumpkin collection event is going on. Top 5 - 10 people get either hats or VIP as a reward iirc.

There is no designated prizes or places. It could be top 5-10, or top 100, or top 500. I don't know yet. The whole point of the event is a contest, and benefit of participating includes receiving random amounts of XP variable by your current level/rank in XP mod. This will change when I add in the "Good Luck" and "Bad Luck" code which will either affect the player collecting the pumpkin positively or negatively. XP will not be the only type of item that can be received when collecting a pumpkin, and the list of possible alternatives is extensive. Pumpkins collected will still be counted regardless of type of luck player has when picking up pumpkin. This will likely be implemented sometime this week but not today. Right now is just the basic setup. It will change throughout the contest. More than likely players on the server won't be so interested in playing the maps as much. It was like this with the Egg Hunt event. If people rush through maps to collect pumpkins that is just the way it is going to be for now. If there was a better way to design this it would be designed better, and ideas are welcome.

I somewhat changed my mind about adding the Luck Mod to this event with bad luck involved... I will probably work on a separate project with these Luck mod ideas rather than change much of what is already configured for this event. Some things might be added, but XP gained will not be changed to remove XP from a player during this event.
