This Code of Conduct is effective immediately, however is bound to be amended over the course of 7 days from now (March 18th, 2018). All users of our services will be expected to be informed, and all users of our services will be expected to educate themselves about this policy. As of Sunday, March 18th, it will be expected that all ModRiotGaming staff will have made themselves familiar with this policy.
The initial establishment of this Code of Conduct is on March 11, 2018. This is an on-going process in development. Any changes or updates will be announced.
All individual game servers will also follow this Code of Conduct, and individual game servers may also have their own individual rules for each server. Rules for each individual game server will be established and announced upon completion. Any changes with individual server rules will also be announced. It is the individual responsibility of each person to inform themselves of the rules and to follow the rules accordingly. - Treat others with respect. We understand that banter and trolling can be fun and humorous sometimes. Please refrain from insults, deragatory remarks, and other forms of harassment. If there is an excessive amount of disrespect being displayed, action will be taken to reduce or eliminate the behavior.
- Work with each other to solve problems. Please be helpful and kind towards others participating in our community.
- Have fun and encourage others to have fun. If someone is trying to ruin fun for others then there is a problem which needs to be addressed.
- No discussions concerning other communities, we're are attempting to create a drama free environment, so please keep it clean.
- Do not use cheats, commands, scripts, or exploits as a means to be given an advantage over other players in gameplay. Some exploits, such as "bunnyhopping", may be used if the server allows for it. If a server does not allow for certain types of scripts, exploits, or commands to be used, please respect these individual rules and encourage others to do so as well.

Code of Conduct for all ModRiotGaming Staff
General
- Do not abuse the authority that has been granted to you. This includes using cheats, commands, scripts, exploits, or status as a member of our staff as a means to be given an advantage over regular players in gameplay. Some exploits, such as "bunnyhopping", may be used if the server allows for it. If a server does not allow for certain types of scripts, exploits, or commands to be used, please respect these individual rules and encourage others to do so as well.
- Do not be demeaning to players on our servers, including other staff members. We don't want a ton of a drama taking time and energy away from our goals as a community. Some arguments and fighting cannot be avoided. Disagreements are usually only made worse by using insults or saying things which are very offensive. Please treat everyone with the same respect you would want to be treated with. An excessive amount of disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.
- Work together as a team. We are a group, a community, and our main goal is to host the best quality game servers that we can.
- No one person has a say over another unless they have been entrusted with the responsibilities of helping to manage our community (such as Administrative Officers, for example). Do not boss others around if you are not entrusted with responsibilities to do so. Failure to comply with this can result in removal of being a member of our staff or other consequences.
Server Moderators/Managers/Administrators
- Ensure that there is as smooth and enjoyable experience as possible on game servers. We depend on you to help others enjoy their experience on our servers.
- Be helpful to players who are new or have problems while trying to play on our servers. Reach out to other Staff if you need help figuring something out.
- Demonstrate self-control with having access to commands which most players do not. This means, for example, don't slap yourself or someone else by spamming the slap command. Another example is to avoid changing maps while there are players on the server who are enjoying the map.
- Take care to pay attention to any problems or issues on our game servers (map problems, game exploits, bugs, glitches, etc). Report these problems on our forum or to Staff as soon as possible. Please document any issues to make resolving problems as easy as possible.
- If you MUST ban someone, please make sure to have given fair warning at least once before doing so. Asking offenders to stop, then slapping them, then slaying, then kicking, and then banning should be the ideal procedure. Do not immediately kick or ban someone - please take less harsh measures to resolve the problem rather than immediately use the most harsh punishment.
- If you are trusted with Administrator access to any game server through the game pannel or in-game commands, you are expected to demonstrate responsibility with your actions. If you are found being irresponsible with this access, the access may be revoked. If you have access revoked for being irresponsible, you may lose all privileges of being trusted with this access in the future.
