We've finally registered ourselves a twitter and youtube account for the community. In order to keep this gaming community running without the use of ads of any kind, donations are very much necessary for continued operations and expansions. Starting this friday, I will be making a weekly post on the status of the community in whole instead of generating masses of smaller posts throughout the week. First off, we've purchased a new VPS located in Austin, TX. This will be our second server hosted by ModRG, with plans for future purchases in Dallas, NY, & Germany. With that being said, we're in need of staff members for a variety of tasks, from server moderators, to system technician. You may fill out an application here http://modriot.ga/forumdisplay.php?fid=33. Be sure to follow the application layout when posting on a newly created thread.

Another idea we're bouncing around atm is concept of selective sponsorship. Basically it goes like this, we search for  half life 1 mod based communities without gameservers, offering them a chance to be sponsored by ModRG. The sponsee would run the server as they see fit under certain conditions such as.
1: End tag of the server hostname must be "| ModRiot.com" along with our url located somewhere on the MOTD
2. Its your job to setup the server any particular way you want as long as it remains somewhat populated.
3. Mod community members must remain active members of the modriotgaming community.
4. If your mod community already has a site, a reference to ModRiotGaming must be made as your primary sponsor.
Failure to abide by any of these rules will lead to the immediate termination of your sponsored server.

Might as well start a thread for any and all games under review to be officially supported by ModRG, taking note of the mod's active player base and its current public server coverage. If a mod is found to have a decent enough sized player base while having a minimal amount of servers operating, then we'll either put it up to a vote or fast track it considering the circumstances and launch a server upon its approval.
